Well! What a night! We were all still a little bit sore and tired on Friday morning and I’m sure some of you were too.
If you were at our Halloween Spooktacular we want to thank you again for coming! I hope you had a great time. I know all of us here at Arithon did!
Lillie’s Bordello was packed and looked absolutely amazing! This was the first party since they renovated so we were making history! The decorations were very spooky. We have to say a big thank you to everyone at Lillie’s for making sure the decorations were up early and for providing us with a prize to give away on the night. If you enjoyed it be sure to go tell them!
There were some great costumes. Everyone from Arithon and Contracting PLUS were dressed as vampires, but we didn’t bite too many people! Witches, pirates and Wonder Woman – there seemed to be one of everything. And people loved all our props. They were trying on different things and swapping from angel halos to devil horns to witches hats throughout the night. The winner of the best costume prize was Declan Dooney. You can check out his costume HERE. He won two tickets to Wicked at the Bord Gais Theatre this November. A great prize even if we do say so ourselves!
Other prizes included champagne for first to arrive, tickets to the Ghost Tour for best dressed group and a VIP Night in Lillie’s Bordello. This last prize was one of the highlights of the night as it was won by being the person to do the best Thriller dance. The winner of that was Jeanette from Firstaff Personnel Consultants. She really was amazing!
The party also marked the launch of our brand new, completely free job board, JobConnect. If you were at the party then you probably already know about it but if you haven’t heard about it, it is the largest job board start-up in Ireland. Not only is it completely free to post, it is also easier to use and has tons of additional features you won’t find anywhere else. Check out the website at www.jobconnect.ie for more information.
All in all it was a great night. I think we can mark it down as a success! There are photos up on our Facebook. Go like them and see if you can spot yourself.
Let us know what your thoughts of the night in the comments below, on Facebook and on Twitter. What were your favourite costumes? Any great moments we didn’t catch on camera you want to share? Be sure to send us any you have!
